We are Kristy and Melih, a husband-and-wife team from the UK and Turkey, living in a village above Kaş for the past 11 years. Kristy comes from a background in corporate banking and business development, while Melih, originally a philosophy graduate, pursued his passion for food by training at the prestigious MSA Culinary Arts School in Istanbul.

Together, we ran Retro Bistro in Kaş for several years before transitioning into private chef services. Over the past decade, Kristy has honed her culinary skills alongside Melih, and today, we combine our expertise and love for food to create unforgettable in-villa dining experiences for international visitors in Kaş and Kalkan

Kristy & Melih’s passion extends beyond the kitchen— They lovingly cultivate all the herbs, flowers, and microgreens used in their recipes right in their own garden. Meanwhile, Melih has embraced both mushroom cultivation and the art of sous vide cooking, producing exquisite oyster mushrooms and dishes with precise, flavor-rich results that elevate their culinary creations..

What is sous vide?

Sous Vide (waterbath) is a modern technique used by proessional chefs around the world. Meat/fish or vegetables are placed in a bag, vacuumed to remove all oxygen then submerged into the waterbath at a precise low temperature for long periods of time. Using this accurate, temperature controlled device guarantees moist & perfect results every time.
